A magnificent and finely carved and white painted console table, the quartz above a Greek key carved frieze with a central lion head and leafy swagsbelow, the bold naturalistic hairy lion legs with paw and disc feet. The original George I by Benjamin Goodison now in the Wootton Hall at Althorp.
