Crested Chair

A mahogany dining chair, the foliate carved top rail and pierced vase splat between waisted uprights above an upholstered drop-in seat on acanthus leaf scroll carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet. The seat rail painted with the Spencer crest. The original George III, circa 1760.
